Since each puzzle has only 17 initial values, I suspect the easy ones might deter a beginner, although they can be solved with simple techniques and a bit of patience. The last third of the book consists of "Torturous" puzzles that requires some advanced techniques and lots o||I am a puzzle nut , so when I first got the book as a present , I was hoping for a challenge ,and BOY did I get one !
